The Usual Suspects

This is a roster of people who will be making a regular appearance on the blog.  Maybe someday you’ll be lucky enough to make the list ;)

Mommy and Daddy Janks
Thank heavens for parents.  Mommy and Daddy Janks have supported me through a lot and I am so thankful for them. Although we have our ups and downs, I know that they always have my back.

Mommy and Daddy Janks met at PSU. I continued the tradition and they couldn’t have been happier!

Middle Janks
Middle Janks is my brother, Jeff. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome after other diagnoses of ADD and ADHD.  He’s very high functioning and the family hopes that he will continue to improve his social and life skills enough to eventually move out of my parent’s house.

Let’s go O’s!

Nettifred
Nettifred is my youngest sibling.  She graduated from college a few years ago, and is currently living out of state.  I love her to death, but we’re often at each other’s throats.  We’re girls, sisters and best friends – it’s to be expected!

Don’t be too jealous.

The JA
The JA is my husband. We got married in September of 2012. We met at work and he proposed in the middle of campus on our two-year anniversary.  He’s pretty much the cat’s meow in my eyes. As I mentioned before, we work at the same place which is both a blessing and a curse, depending on the day. It’s commonly known that, with him being a teacher, he duped me into loving him – just like he dupes his students into learning.  It’s ok, I duped him, too because I don’t know how else he’s put up with my crazy life for this long!

We clean up nice.

Norman
Norman is my trusty steed, er…car. He is a navy Nissan.  His predecessors include: Sammie the (mint green) Saturn and Stuart the Saab.  I have a naming problem.  I’ve accepted it and found that it’s much easier to express emotions when you have names for your inanimate objects.  Don’t judge me.
