This past weekend, MD, DC, and VA were the victim of horrendous storms. While I was fortunate enough to have power, the cable and internet only returned this morning.
I opened the house to some friends who still did not have power last night. Even though I wish I had a bit more time to prepare (and clean) it was great to be able to offer these people relief from the heat.
I realize that there are those dealing with far worse things than no cable, power, and internet. Pray for them as well as those who are still suffering in the sweltering heat that’s plaguing the East Coast.
