If we were chatting over tea right now, I’d tell you the following:
1. My throat is scratchy. Not good. I’m hoping it stays contained and that I don’t get sick. Only a few weeks until Thanksgiving and a bit of a break!
2. I finally made How Sweet Eats White Chicken Quinoa Chili last night. Verdict? Needed a bit more kick, but with a small addition of cayenne pepper, it became a must keep recipe.
3. I’m nervous. We’re taking a trip soon and my passport expired. Fingers crossed that all goes well and we can both still go!
4. The 40ish degree temperatures have really been helping my runs. While this throat THING isn’t so hot, I’m still posting some pretty good paces on my past few runs.(Yesterday, I even did two runs!) 5.5 miles on the docket for this weekend, and I’m optimistic I can post a faster time than last week.
What’s new with you? Any good cold-weather recipes to share? Do you prefer warm or cool weather for outdoor exercise? Anyone who can expedite my passport renewal process? EEK!
