Watson on the Loose

Since we made the decision to keep Watson out of his crate, many people have asked about his progress. Wonder no more, my friends!

Who, me? What could I possibly do?

Who, me? What could I possibly do?

I am pleased to report that he’s been doing very well. In fact, some days we wonder if he ever leaves the couch in our den.

Why do you leave me?

Why do you leave me?

We did have one day where he chewed his leash and a pair of pliers, but I’ll take that over destroying a TV remote, or worse, a door.

Thanks for all your help & advice. Next challenge: holiday decorating! We’ll be home this year and want to go all out. Yet, it will be our first with Watson. Any tips or tricks we should know about?

I know we haven’t even gotten through Thanksgiving yet, but…how do you decorate with a pet in mind?

  1. My parents only ever let us have cats, but we had four, haha. For Christmas, we always had to keep expensive or precious glass ornaments at the top of the tree and plush or cheapie ones at the bottom because my cats would run under the tree and play with the ornaments!
